Why Speedcubing in Córdoba?

The Rubik's Cube is a highly addictive puzzle, capable of awakening a healthy hobby, much more entertaining and intriguing than smartphones.

We are many boys and girls who love Speedcubing. The celebration of an official championship in Cordoba will allow us to discover, promote and share our hobby.

And of course, we want to make Cordoba and our province known to all speedcubers from Andalusia, Spain and abroad who come to visit us.

What is Speedcubing?

Speedcubing is the practice of solving the Rubik's Cube and its variants in the shortest possible time. There are thousands of puzzles derived from the famous ‘magic cube’ invented by Erno Rubik in 1974.

In this championship we will have the nine main modalities: 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, pyramid, skewb, megaminx, square1, 3x3 onehand and clock.

What if I have never competed before?

Then this is the best time to get started in Speedcubing. More than a third of the competitors are often competing for the first time. You just need to know how to solve the Rubik's Cube in any of the different types.

Register on the WCA website and sign up for the championship, and you will become a speedcuber.
